A Strange Signing
I took the painting on to Sathya Sai Baba's veranda and sat hoping Baba would come to view the painting, included in the work was a deliberate mistake. I had moved the water tower from the back of the building to the front this made the tower visible, but would not have been viewed from the perspective shown. Why you may ask? well you would have to ask Baba that question as it was our secret. To move on Baba did view the painting. He asked where is it? I replied it's your Super Speciality Hospital Bangalore, quizzically.
He walked away and the turned came back, looked and asked would you like me to sign it. I replied O yes please I said. He then signed the painting. Leaving after the signing for his interview room.
I had never had such a joyful experience. I seemed to be in a stupor.
A young student came up to me and said " You have one of his hairs on your shoulder" and and took it. Arriving back in my room I explained to Jan my wife Baba had signed the picture and mentioned the student and him removing the hair of Baba. Jan had seen the signing and said excitedly " take your shirt off there may be more hairs " she examined the shirt on the out side no hair, but when turning the shirt inside out found quite a number of his hairs in the back of the shirt? enough for two lockets full. How could that happen hair inside the back of the shirt? Only Baba can elucidate on this, he always has said " Don't try to understand me "
