Higher Elementary School Bukkapatnam
In 1934 Aged 8 Sathya was accepted into the Higher Elementary School Bukkapatnam approximately two and a half miles from from Puttaparthi.
In class and one fine day a teacher decided that the young Sathya was not taking down notes that he dictated, this being a bad example to class he shouted “ Stand up all those that are not taking down notes “
Sathya was the solitary culprit.
The teacher asked why Sathya were you not taking down notes?
“Sir, why should I take down notes?
I have understood what you have dictated".
"Ask me any question on the subject you were dictating and I will answer correctly".
The teachers ego was inflated he was furies.
He ordered Sathya to stand on the bench and he would stand there until the end of class.
At the end of class the replacement came.
To his surprise Sathya was on the bench.
The replacment asked the teacher “ Why are you sitting on the chair”
As the teacher stood up it the answer was obvious to see.
Attached to his Dottie the chair! and it did not detach until Sathya was asked to stand on the floor.
